Blooms

UPDATE: I found my camera cord! This is happy, because I have a few things to share. The Weigels were kind enough to have me over on Mother's Day for dinner, because my own mother was in Mexico soaking up the sun before her surgery the following week (everything went really well, by the way!). So, as a token of my appreciation, I took them a little gift in the form of green and yellow spider mums! Also, who'd have thought something like this: Would make stuff like this:

Horticulturist in the Making

In addition to the retail therapy that I very much enjoyed today, I also like: daffodils star jasmine zinnias My dad teaches me plant stuff all the time, but lately I've been trying hard to actively learn new things. I mean, I knew daffodils and zinnias, but I've learned things like star jasmine, nandina, japanese boxwood, and arbavida. Nature is pretty much the best. [For the record, the daffodils were given to us by a friend (thanks Carpenter family!), we did not grown them. The other stuff is ours though!]

I like Tucson. The end.

Pleasantness

Today has been pleasant. Some great friends came over to study for an exam. We had a good time, and managed to study some class material. I also finished my long board. Photos to come. More importantly, while my long board is drying in the sun, I took some photos of the lovely spring day. The birdseed heart one is for Kendle . Side note: Those last two photos are of frost damaged plants. My heart is broken for our sad plants that were hurt.

Springing

Spring is here, and while the warm temperature isn't exactly my favorite, the nights and mornings have been kind of amazing. Our crazy winter weather kind of ruined our flowers. We probably won't have any sweet peas and our snapdragons are terrible. On the upside though, our Iceland poppies are looking good!
